They are a smaller agency that is not publicly traded. They have assignments nationwide for RNs, LPNs, Sterile Techs, OR Techs, OTs, PTs, SLPs, LCSWs, MSWs, and Medical Assistants. They are Joint Commission certified and have a Director of Nursing available 24/7.
At USSI, each recruiter is responsible for recruiting nurses for their current openings. Suppose the nurse or recruiter believes that they are not a good fit at any point in the recruiting, submission, compliance or contract periods. In that case, I will speak directly with the nurse or recruiter to determine the root cause of this feeling. If it is determined or requested that a change be made, I will handpick the recruiter that the nurse will move to based upon their desires/personality.
They offer first-day insurance for Anthem PPO/HMO and Kaiser in California. For the other states, they provide first-day Anthem PPO insurance. They also provide vision and dental insurance. Their 401k is through ADP that they do not match. The nurse is eligible to contribute towards their 401K after 90 days. They also pay the stipend on a daily basis.
