Even though he wasn't too happy about having to load the truck and the car to get ready for the move.  My son assisted me, and on the road we went to my first assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

I do believe that the boy is much happier now that we have arrived in Phoenix and visited to Arizona Diamondbacks. 

The view from our apartment there in Phoenix.  Life was pretty "rough" living by the third tee, but at least I only had to go across the parking lot to play a round of golf.

Golfing once again with one of the staff nurses there.  We had a great time this trip, and only wish that we would have figured sooner than the last month that we both loved to play golf!

We even got in some time working!  Rhonda was a GREAT help to me on my first assignment.  She really made me feel like "one of the gang."

And then there is my writing friend "Travlin Ed Teja" from New Mexico, who now lives in the Caribbean.  Here my hubby caught us singing "Dust In The Wind" karaoke style!

Can't forget golf when on a road trip!  This is a beautiful roller coaster ride of a course in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  Went and played it the day after the Western Shindig with Travelin Ed.

The day before I went to the Western Shindig and met Travlin Ed, my 1992 Ford Ranger (pictured on the left) was involved in a motor vehicle accident.  Fortunately, I was not injured, but the Ranger was a total loss.  Poor thing, only has 205K miles on it!

The next month we went to Las Vegas to meet a friend from Louisiana, and came home with a 2002 Lincoln Blackwood.  Needless did we know then, that later we would need the Blackwood to pull our travel trailer.

Two heads are better than one?  Either that or I'm attempting to get brownie points with the charge nurse!

More fun with writing friends!  The is Playwright, Karen Mueller Bryson, whom is another great author that I am in contact with through a writers group, NUW.  We met and went out to lunch together.
