Lasting Memories
The Long Road From Iowa to
Idaho to Florida

Memories of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens,
and the Big Bopper. While staying in Clear Lake, Iowa, the home of the
Surf Ballroom and site where "the music died" in February of 1959, Epstein
and son walked out to the scene of the crash.
|
|

Epstein provides an educational opportunity to Medical
Solutions in Omaha, Nebraska, and meets three of her previous recruiters,
Steve, Pat, and Kari.

The crew from Mercy Medical Center in
Mason City Iowa on my last day. Thanks to Debbie, Tracy, and Kathy for
making my stay a great one!

|

Tragedy strikes: Thanks to wet
roads, a hill, and an 18 wheeler, the back end of the trailer is much
farther down than it should be, not to mention the torqued frame underneath
that you can't see. We unloaded everything out of the RV and into the
little black trailer. |

So, this is
what my house in Idaho looks like? |

It's all downhill from here.
|

Over the mountains and through the woods to Grandmother's
house we'll go...
|

Made it to grandmother's house! Actually, this is Epstein's
mother-in-law. In her 90s and still going strong!

 Our travel
caravan... the truck, trailer, and Sonny's convertible.

 Out of the cold,
and into the sunshine!
