What is your average time
from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses ready-to-go?
The average time after
acceptance is generally dependent on the client facility. Most facilities
for travel assignments allow the nurse to start asap (or as soon as they can
get there). Typical turn around time after acceptance is around a week to 10
days.
What size is your company, and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?
We are a very small company (compared to
most out there now) but have offices positioned strategically to
specifically target the high traffic areas where travel nurses want to go.
Can
I expect personal service with your company?
YES! Wesley specializes in personal
service! We work very hard to make sure that we completely understand the
needs and goals of our nurses to give them their "best fit" in assignments.
I work night shift, what
if I have problems at night?
Yes, we have someone on our phones 24/7 to
answer any questions or address any concerns that our nurses may have. If
there is a clinical concern or patient care issue, our nurse directors are
also available to discuss issues on a one to one basis.
What other type of
benefits does your company provide?
We provide generous sign
on and referral bonuses, paid private housing (or stipends), paid travel (or
stipends), education reimbursement, and health care reimbursement.
What about professional
insurance?
I believe that our company's insurance
carrier is very thorough and comprehensive but as a nurse, I have always
carried my own Professional liability insurance and make this same
recommendation to all nurses working for our company.
