specialist, assuring you have an assignment that is custom made to fit your
special wants and needs!
Can
I expect personal service with your company?
We offer unmatched personal service 24\7. Katherine
Hefley, Vice President is available anytime.
Do you cover all the
United States, parts of the U.S. or do you also offer international assignments?
All 50 States
What about professional
insurance?
Our company carries 1 million and 6
million. This is more than enough insurance for any professional. I do not
believe that any nurse working for NWN will need to buy additional
insurance.
What size is your company, and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?
We are a Veteran owned small business. You
will be a name and we will even recognized your voice.
I work night shift, what
if I have problems at night?
Katherine Hefley, Vice President is
available 24/7. You will speak to me personally.
What other type of
benefits does your company provide?
We provide housing that will accommodate
you, your family and pets if that is what you need to be comfortable during
your travel assignment. We also pay all utilities including Cable TV and
Telephone. Other benefits include: top hourly wages, guaranteed
hours, weekly pay, free direct deposit, free private housing, tax free
program, monthly newsletter and special gift, destination pay, upfront sign
on bonus, completion bonus, loyalty bonus, performance bonus, referral
bonus, paid vacation, paid CEUs, upfront rental car, round trip airfare,
round trip motel allowance, health insurance, stipend licensure paid in
full, overtime available, family emergency assistance, free professional
liability insurance, workers compensation, insurance incentives and other
unmatched personal service.
What is your average time
from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses ready-to-go?
With a completed application NWN can have
you working in as little as 3 days. The average time is usually 7 to 10
days. This all depends on the travel distance and if the nurse has to stop
along the way to get state licensure.
What
makes your company more than just another travel company?
We are a smaller company by choice so we
can focus on our nurses individual needs and concerns. We have been there
for our employees for all kinds of needs. For instance, last year we had a
nurse working in AZ and his family was in FL during the horrible hurricane
season. We hired a moving van, packed their personal belongings and
relocated his family to AZ to be with him so he would not have to leave his
assignment or worry about the safety of his family. Another nurses home had
been broken into while he was away working in NM. We relocated his family to
a safe motel and had all of the locks changed in is home. Peace of mind is
priceless for our Travelers and we go above and beyond at no cost to the
nurse.
NWN staff has a tremendous retention of
their Travelers and a high percentage of new employees are referred by our
current Travelers. I feel that speaks volumes about us as a preferred
Travel Nurse Company.
