What kind of career opportunities does your company offer?
We provide travel assignments to
Registered Nurses and Surgical Technicians. We are also getting more
management positions for our RNs i.e., interim clinical manager -interim
House Supervisor, interim DON, Case Management.
Do you cover all the United
States, parts of the U.S. or do you also offer international assignments?
We have a very strong presence in the
Midwest: MN, ND, SD, IA, WI and NE. We also have assignments in NV, WY, MO
and New York.
What is your average time
from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses
ready-to-go?
Ideally, it should be no more than a
week. The factor that delays everything is how quickly the facility will
interview the candidate. We work very hard to get a 24 hour commitment
from the hospital - we submit the profile and they have 24 hours to speak
with our candidate or choose an interview time that works for them and our
candidate. Most of the clients we work for our great - however, there are
always some that fall short. We communicate very closely with our
professionals during this time and let them know if they do not get called
and need to move on - that is the hospital's loss.
What size is your company,
and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?
Small - you will definitely NEVER be
treated as a number at MSPI. We take pride in being a small company - we
have no desire to compete with the larger corporations. We want to know
our employees and learn what is important to them professionally and
personally.
Can I expect personal service
with your company?
Absolutely - each traveler works with
one recruiter only. We all try to help our employees if they call and
their recruiter is not in - we do not want to make them wait. If there is
a payroll/accounting question, our professionals can speak directly with
these areas.
I work night shift, what if I
have problems at night?
MSPI has someone available 24/7.
