Can I expect personal service with your company?

Each travel assignment is customized to fit the travelers need, single housing, 2 bedroom, cats dogs, kids. I would like each of our employees to be treated like I would want to be treated. Do you cover all the United States, parts of the U.S. or do you also offer international assignments?

IPI Travel staffs all of the United States and Puerto Rico.

About professional insurance, do you believe that the insurance that a company provides is good enough, or does the nurse also need to obtain her own professional insurance?

Our insurance is 2 mill -4 mill in most of the country with the exception of VA, which has increased limits, we will offer an additional insurance coverage for each traveler for a small fee.

What size is your company (small, medium, large), and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?

IPI Travel is a mid-size company, you will always talk with your recruiter, and not an assistant. Returning phone calls is a big issue! I never want to hear of a recruiter not returning phone calls. Here is the deal, in order for us to be successful our staff has to be accessible, for all questions at any time. This is our motto. If a nurse goes through our system feeling like a number I need to know. I will call the nurse myself.

I work night shift, what if I have problems at night? Do you have someone I can talk to even in the middle of the night?

IPI Travel provides 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 day a year. 1,2,3 am our on call reps have the pager next to the pillow. 30 minute lag time, your phone call will be returned.

What is your average time from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses ready-to-go?

2-5 days, depending on the unit manager and type of nurse. If all paperwork is complete, reference checks and qualifications are in order, turn around time could be 2 hours. This is totally situation dependent. We could have a job for a traveler in literally hours, however keep in mind we will verify and check all information provided with a fine tooth comb. Quality is very important to us.
