HRN provides travel opportunities for RNs
through out the country as well as local per diem opportunities in areas in
which we have local offices.
Can
I expect personal service with your company?
At HRN, the nurse signs our paychecks,
which means that each employee of HRN recognizes that without the nurse none
of us would have a job! HRN travel coordinators walk the nurse through the
paperwork process, the nurse is asked about submissions prior to being
submitted to any facility. The nurse is involved and approves all housing
decisions prior to leases being signed. Our job is to facilitate the
contract for the nurse and make it as seamless as possible yet allowing the
nurse to be a part of the decision making process. You are not just a number
with HRN you are why we are here!
Do you cover all the
United States, parts of the U.S. or do you also offer international assignments?
HRN services 47 of the 50 states. We do
not offer international assignments at this time.
What about professional
insurance?
HRN provides malpractice insurance for
their employees. I am divided on the issue on whether a nurse needs to
supplement that insurance as I have seen attorneys go after the nurse once
they find out that there is more money available when involved in
litigation. What HRN provides is adequate and has covered any nurse that has
been involved in litigation.
What size is your company, and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?
Medium to Large. Our nurses are our
business never just a number!!!
I work night shift, what
if I have problems at night?
An HRN RN Director is on call after hours
to assist with any issues that may arise.
What other type of
benefits does your company provide?
Company paid Medical/Dental Benefits that
are considered the best in this industry. 401K, Life Insurance and work

What is your average time
from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses ready-to-go?
This can vary depending on facility
response, I wish I could give you a hard and fast time frame but it can vary
significantly from 2 days to 2 weeks.
What

HRN has collectively over 35 years
experience in this industry. Many Directors in the company are former travel
nurses themselves so we understand issues that are important to the nurse
and make those a priority. The CEO of HRN is serious when he says that the
