Long and short term
assignments for RN's and LPN's nationwide. We have private and government
contracts so we are able to place nurses almost anywhere.
Can
I expect personal service with your company?
As a small staffing
company, we really get to know our nurses and take care of them. Our
recruiters are nurses themselves and understand the demands of the
profession in a travel setting or a permanent placement. We do all we can to
accommodate our nurses and find the best fit for them and the facilities we
work with. A majority of our nurses stay with Dakota Med Temps, Inc. for at
least two 13-week contracts, many for more, because of the way they are
treated by the DMT staff.
Do you cover all the
United States, parts of the U.S. or do you also offer international assignments?
DMT has assignments throughout the U.S., including Alaska
and Hawaii.
About professional
insurance, do you believe that the insurance that a company provides is good enough, or
does the nurse also need to obtain her own professional insurance?
All DMT nurses are
required to provide their own professional liability insurance coverage in
addition to the company plan.
What size is your company
(small, medium, large), and can I expect to be treated as a number or a name?
DAKOTA MED TEMPS, Inc is a very small company. All our
nurses are treated with respect and are called by name. Even our
receptionist is able to recognize many nurses by voice when they call!
I work night shift, what
if I have problems at night? Do you have
someone I can talk to even in the middle of the night?
Our nurse recruiters have cell phones and they give that
number out at their discretion. If a nurse can not get a hold of their
recruiter overnight, their issue will be addressed first thing in the
morning.
What other type of
benefits does your company provide?
Travel, housing, per diem, medical, vision and dental
coverage, supplemental insurance, SIMPLE IRA, flex spending account,
referral bonuses, retention bonus, license reimbursement and more!
What is your average time
from acceptance of application to first day on the job for those nurses ready-to-go?
Typically 2-3 weeks depending on the facility the nurse
would like to work in.
What
makes your company more than just another travel company?
Our recruiters care about our nurses and work hard to make
sure they are comfortable and happy with their assignments. DMT offers
comparable benefits to most other travel companies, but offers the personal
touch to our nurses.
